The University of Oklahoma Gibbs College of Architecture has invited Satyendra Pakhalé to bring his expertise and perspective through a Public Lecture and a Workshop. On Tuesday the 4th of March, he touched on manifold topics such as sensorial design, social justice, secular humanism, social modernity, and architectural atmosphere, which have offered a comprehensive perspective that aligns with the evolving discourse in architecture and design. These insights are to broaden the understanding of the designer’s role in shaping inclusive and meaningful environments.
The primary audience of the Public Lecture was the faculty, undergraduate, and graduate students from the Architecture and Interior Design divisions of the Gibbs College of Architecture. Additionally, a dedicated Workshop with the students took place on ‘Shifting Scales and Sensing Spaces’.
