Kid Ceramic Chair

This piece in ceramic is one of the outcomes of the designer’s ‘Playing with Clay’ residency at the European Ceramic Work Centre (EKWC) in the Netherlands. Illustrating a similar approach to that used in Pottery Chair and Roll Carbon Ceramic Chair and applying hollow forms, this project set out to explore a design language that would fire a child’s imagination. Kid Ceramic Chair provides a wonderful inside space for children. They can play with it, look through it and store toys in it. A special experimental glaze gives a deep sensorial quality to the object.
