With its focus on senior citizens as the users of this product, the interaction design is intuitive and ahead of it’s time.
The digital wallet takes a new perspective on traditional wallet, a container for identification, credit access and emotional or sentimental objects.
It retains the emotional / personal intimate nature of the a traditional wallet, while simplifying the increasingly complex process of identification and credit transfer onto just one ‘super smart’ card / display. Complete security for these important documents has been provided envisioning the biometric technology / iris scan. With its focus on senior citizens as the users of the digital wallet, the interaction design is intuitive and ahead of its time. It has features such as credit / bank / shops / medical / identity / insurance / travel / telephone / miscellaneous. The idea of graphical user interface for the digital wallet is designed and visualized in 1997 which is a decade ahead of the application based graphical user interface of all internet based digital devices these days.
