This year the traditional Salone del Mobile.Milano will not be held as well as the biennials and SaloneSatellite. It will celebrate special 60th anniversary in 2022, from 5 to 10 April 2022, during the week of the special event named Supersalone, curated by architect Stefano Boeri and his team of 5 curators, Salone organized on Wednesday 8th September 2021 an event at POLO FORMATIVO DEL LEGNO ARREDO, a very special school that was founded ten years ago by Federlegno, and where Salone Satellite was assigned a space to install the ‘SaloneSatellite Permanent Collection’ that holds more than 300 products including Fish Chair and KAYO Extensible Table design Satyendra Pakhalé. We will be inviting all designers whose creativity is exhibited there, producers and International Press that will be visiting Milan during this week to visit Polo Formativo and vision SaloneSatellite Permanent Collection.
On this occasion Mrs. Marva Griffin Wilshire, Founder and Curator SaloneSatellite organized a Conversation/Talk “Designer+Producer” conducted by Giulio Cappellini who is the number one talent scout who started producing pieces of international designers from the very beginning and Satyendra Pakhalé is one of those designers. Satyendra Pakhalé is invited to represent the generation of designers, being the one of the most successful designer who participated in SaloneSatellite in the past, to talk about his experience in SaloneSatellite and his relationship with several producers. This conversation will be an encouragement to young designers, industry and design profession by and large.
